to Shovel - Spalare

Today, I heard someone saying (in english) he wanted us to "shovel more carbon into the boiler". Now, I'm fine with the boiler part, but why did he want us to try to burn IKEA pencils and diamonds?

"carbon" = "carbonio"; "carbone" is "coal", in English.

it's another pair of sleeves
