Lark - Allodola

Not a song, this Saturday, but my favourite piece of my favourite play...

[...]

JULIET
It is, it is [day]: hie hence, be gone, away!
It is the lark that sings so out of tune,
Straining harsh discords and unpleasing sharps.
Some say the lark makes sweet division;
This doth not so, for she divideth us:
Some say the lark and loathed toad change eyes,
O, now I would they had changed voices too!
Since arm from arm that voice doth us affray,
Hunting thee hence with hunt's-up to the day,
O, now be gone; more light and light it grows.

ROMEO
More light and light; more dark and dark our woes!

[...]

JULIET
Then, window, let day in, and let life out.

from W. Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet (original here)

sforzandosi in dure dissonanze e spiacevoli acuti.
Oh, adesso, vattene; e' sempre piu' luminoso.

ROMEO

I'll just comment this before anyone does. Yes, I also think it is a bit out of scope for me to try to translate here pieces of English classics, and this will probably be my only attempt at it.

However, this is really my favourite piece of my favourite play, it is early May, leaves are green, the sky is blue, and I felt like sharing it with everyone. :)

If you think I shouldn't have, just drop a comment here.
