Merry Christmas!!! - Buon Natale!!!

Greetings everyone... A small song whose lyrics you should read complete... The content is not as sweet as it may seem from the start...

It was christmas eve babe
In the drunk tank
An old man said to me, won’t see another one
And then he sang a song
The rare old mountain dew
I turned my face away
And dreamed about you

Got on a lucky one
Came in eighteen to one
I’ve got a feeling
This year’s for me and you
So happy christmas
I love you baby
I can see a better time
When all our dreams come true

The Pogues, Christmas in the Drunk Tank (original here)

Auguri a tutti...

quindi buon natale
ti amo, bambina
posso vedere tempi migliori
in cui tutti i sogni si avverano

The Pogues, Christmas in the Drunk Tank (originale qui)

Hey Paolo F.,
How can I change the email address where the Volabulary posts are sent to?

December 28, 2005 5:45 PM by Blogger Monsieur Jacques Pernod
Hi there... You should be able to do that from google groups somewhere, but I cannot be much more helpful than that, as I've never done the operation myself.

Solution 2: write me at volabulary@gmail.com, and I'll delete your old address so you can re-subscribe with a new one.

PS - you can call me just "Paolo" :-D
