There's quite a lot of people (at least 5, that is)
landing on this site because they would like to know the correct italian pronunciation of the names of the two mascots of the Torino 2006 Olympics (the ball-headed red bimbo, Neve, and the blue yob whose head you can see through, Gliz). So, for everyone interested: "Neve" (Snow) in italian... just say "never" in english, possibly without any "r" sound, and making any "E" sounds a bit wider. That's pretty accurate. "Gliz", you just say it in English, most people will understand. The others don't know who he is anyway, so don't worry.
